  1. Congrats and enjoy your "662" which is what I call the 2013-2014 Shelbys. I recently traded my 2015 Shelby GT350 (yes, 2015 not 2016) for a 2013 dark blue GT500 convertible with 19,000 miles. After selling my 2008 GT/SC convertible, and being without a convertible for the first time in 45 years, I decided that a wanted another convertible and settled on a 2013 "662" convertible. During my search, I discovered that the '13 and '14 convertibles are a fairly rare bird with only about 800 made each year. Also, in doing my research on these GT500s, I was surprised after reading all the posi
  2. Do these dealers really think there are that many morons willing to spend $140,000 on a car that retails for what...$90,000? I've owned four Shelbys, two vintage and two modern or later ones. Personally, my money would be on the new Corvette.
  3. I have a set. If interested, email me at: jacejfpataoldotcom Include a phone number in your email. John
  4. Well, I disagree. The Paxton has nothing on a Whipple SC.
  5. The millennias moved on because they couldn't afford them.
  6. Here it is - the 2019 GT500 with 700 plus horsepower. https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/news/2018/01/15/all-new-mustang-shelby-gt500.html
  7. I had the Suntek clear bra installed on my 350. First time application for me and I haven't had any issues since the install.
  8. # $30,00 for a 2008 SGT/SC convertible, I'll buy 'em all. Not even close. There are probably no more than a dozen convertibles that have been converted to the GT/SC package.
  9. Image Shack is your best option. It costs $20 per year. Best part about it is it doesn't have all the damn pop-ups like photobucket. Very simple to use. Most forums that I place photos on are done direct from my computer so I normally don't need to host them.
  10. Thanks for the update. I'll be stopping by Sonny Bryan's BBQ Friday night for some beer and BBQ.
  11. They have a very nice, black, 2009 KR, 3400 miles, at Streetside Classics, Fort Worth, for $44,000.
  12. I can't believe that having catalytic converters on both sides of the transmission doesn't exacerbate heating issues with the transmission. A catalytic converter operates normally between 550 and 1,600 degrees Fahrenheit with the optimal temperature being about 806 degrees. Pollutants coming through the exhaust system can raise the temperature over 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit, at which point, the catalytic converter can be severely damaged.
  13. The GT350 will make you forget that you are 50 years older now and make you feel like you're back in high school again - every time you take it out. I'm no spring chicken anymore myself and I love my '15 GT350.
