    Mustangs and going fast
  1. Is this thing legit? I never seen a 2017 Shelby Raptor before. And only 25 being made this year? Pretty sweet looking truck though. https://youtu.be/Cwzjm_Nh76g Or if this was supposed to be the unveiling at Monterrey maybe, looks like a couple dealers already let it out early on youtube.
  2. Cervini's makes the closest I have seen to a classic Eleanor look. I had their kit on my 2005 GT and it was a good kit.
  3. But why are those cars that get upfitted at mod shops considered real Shelbys? Since the cars taken to mod shops around the country or world for that matter, never actually go to Las Vegas and get touched by Shelby American? I thought one of your requirements was that it had to actually be done by Shelby American? And why you keep talking about some mystery video you supposedly have of I believe a tour guide? You would seriously believe a tour guide over say Steve or any other Shelby American employee that would say your wrong? I just have a hard time understanding why you are so
  4. Man I would love to. But the Phoenix area Shelby scene is very small. Not saying Shelbys aren't around, just that they are a rare site besides maybe the same two or three that go to shows every time. But I would love to be involved with Shelby owners around here.
  5. What about Shelbys that are converted to Super Snakes or whatever at Shelby American's authorized shops? Since those weren't converted at Shelby American itself, do they get the "REAL" Shelby honor? I mean, since they weren't touched by Shelby American in Las Vegas, but a mod shop, do those qualify even though they do get a CSM? And I believe I read that Steve has commented on this topic before and stands by the fact all Shelbys that come branded as a Shelby, are Real Shelbys.
  6. You know, since you seem to have such a problem with Carroll Shelby and thinking he just took a two week vacation to have some fun, the question is, why are you here? Why are you on Team Shelby since you clearly have set history straight and let everyone now that we have fake Shelbys. Why do you feel the need to keep throwing in our face some our cars don't have CSM numbers? Why don't you go hang out on the SVT site or other MUSTANG sites. Why keep coming here? We don't need your negativity here. We are happy with the cars we have and not everybody cares if it has that super special csm
  7. I've already done that. He was very knowledgeable. I'm just trying to figure out if the PCV system would cause oil to leak from all these places. Especially odd to me since they didn't use the right gaskets and sealant. The stalling issue we figured out to be caused by my super cobra jet monoblade. Ever since the tuner made adjustments it's been great.
  8. Sorry this a fairly long read but PLEASE give it a read. This whole deal was also setup through a well known "Mustang guy" that is in Las Vegas. I took the car to him and he took the car to the engine shop. I paid him which he then gave to the engine shop. And yes I have receipts for it. Meanwhile the "Mustang guy" is telling the engine shop to basically ignore me and forget about me according the engine shop. Ok guys I have been having an issue as a few of you may know. Ever since I had my engine built by an engine shop in Las Vegas, I have been having numerous oil leaks. Now,
  9. Definitely check the coils. I was having this same issue as well but I did put in the Weapon X coils. Three of the coils ended up being bad. Swapped them out and put the stock coils back in, Fixed right up. It could also possibly be the tune. Though I know Lund does good tunes. But good luck and keep us update on what you find out.
  10. I have been running these tires (295/35/20) for about 4 years now and never had any problems. Have been at 700hp for about 2 years. Now Michelin does have different tires designed for different vehicles. Could it be that the wrong tires might be on these cars that have the death wobble? I've never had that experience. I have heard that we are not supposed to run the Ferrari spec tires on our car. Not exactly sure what the difference may be but that's what I have heard. Now I do have to say I tend to not really get on the car very much. So I don't really have that situation very often w
  11. I agree, great looking event list here! Just waiting for the price as well, which I know is probably coming real soon. Looks like this is going to an awesome event!
  12. Looking forward to this! Will be my first bash since the 2012 bash. Hmmm... And I notice the Silverton shows they are sold out March 9th-11th.
  13. Thanks. The car is heading up to Vegas on Monday. So hopefully it will be ready in time for the bash in March.
